What we do

Here at the mountain bike club we offer several services, however, our passion lies in the heart of the focal point of our business, independent alternative provision. We offer different programmes to suit the needs of the young people we are supporting. Most commonly, we work with young people on a one to one basis as we find this can be the most successful way to achieve the desired outcomes we are working towards. We also offer group sessions for young people that are at a different point in their journey and are looking for more group work and social sessions in order to hopefully get them reintegrated into main stream education.

Outside of our main focus of alternative provision we also offer mountain bike coaching sessions, weekly social club rides for 11-16yr olds, corporate events and guided rides. For any of these services please do get in touch via the contact us form!

Our vision

The aim of the club is to help encourage young people and adults alike to get out and ride mountain bikes. we believe there is no better regulator than being outdoors in the fine British countryside riding bikes. Mountain biking is a massively growing sport with more and more people taking an interest in it. We want to nurture and help grow our beloved community by teaching responsible use of the outdoors and the woodlands and showing how much joy it can bring, whilst increasing skill level. We aim to fuel a passion for all types of cycling and the great outdoors. Here at the Mountain Bike Club we are driven by our passion to deliver the best service possible, this is especially crucial in the work we do with young people not in the mainstream education system. Our goal is to leave the countryside better than we found it and to educate all session attendees the delicate nature of our beautiful outdoor spaces and to respect it, and others who may use it. We are truly blessed to have access to such wonderful places to cycle that we need to ensure we respect all aspects of it from the ecosystems, other users and each other.
